History

The establishment of Langford Aboriginal Association Inc was the vision of several families who lived in Langford and surround suburbs. These families saw a gap in the services being provided to Aboriginal community members in Langford and surrounding suburbs. It was identified that there was a need for a place to call our own, a meeting place and a place to carry out activities identified by the community.

LAA is growing steadily with the purchase of some minor assets during 2004 which enabled the delivery of adult community education programs.  The ultimate aim is to bring the community together to deliver programs that achieve outcomes wanted by individuals, families and the wider community.
